(Scroll down for photos! ^_^)

As well as creating comics themselves, I’m lucky enough to get the chance to meet new creators at workshops, events and conventions all over the UK and Europe. I have guested and presented at several events across the UK, from exhibiting at the Japanese Embassy in London, to presenting Tokyopop’s RECON evenings along with my friend and colleague, Sonia Leong.
Sometimes I’ll head along to an event with Sweatdrop; sometimes purely as a fan; and sometimes as a guest. Either way, it’s always good fun!

If you would like me to present a manga workshop or guest at an event you are running, please do drop me a line using the email adress found in my intro message on the sidebar (spam protected).

I always enjoy events and will try and attend all I can, though booking in advance is adviseable. ^_^
Onto the photos!

I found this sweet pic of my partner-in-crime, Sonia Leong and me at the Birmingham comic event 2007, so thought I’d put it here ^_^

Anime Network piccies - mostly me with co-presenter Stuart Claw ^_^

Japan Tour - One of our lovely guides, and a Shakespeare and manga guru himself, was kind enough to send a few photos. Here we have just a couple from one of our talks, but a few fun ones from when we were lucky enough to grab some time to look around the kyoto manga museum and a beautiful garden. enjoy ^_^

A selection of pics from the recent Manga Shakespeare book launch in London. Go here for the full set!

- Sonia Leong and myself during a RSOM signing at Borders in Cambridge.

- Laura Watton, Sonia Leong and myself presenting a workshop in Birmingham.

- Tomodachi was a fun event where Sonia and I were invited as guests. ^_^

- Sonia and I spent a nice day in a museum in Tunbridge Wells, talking with budding artists and running a few workshops.

- A Tokyopop evening run in the Waterstones in Norwich.

- Not me, but my poster! You can see Sonia, Dock and Selina in there…and the green-haired girl poster is mine. ^_^
Other posters there are by Sonia Leong, Laura Watton, Selina Dean, Dock, Joanna Zhou and Morag Lewis. Expo is always a good event.

- A fab group of people who attended a workshop I ran with Laura Watton at an Artist & Illustrator Exhibition.

- Hahah - this one isn’t strictly work, but makes me laugh. When Sonia and I attended Animagic in Germany, we were given these amazing hotel rooms that had a door between them. So when we opened the door we had an executive suite. ^_~
